Chapters is autobiographical storytelling through the creation of a visual book, each painting a new chapter, each chapter an ode to the impactful things that have shaped who I am. Spending a year in isolation from the external world I leaned into myself for inspiration. Browsing through 5 years’ worth of meticulously documented thoughts and ideas in my sketchbooks, I searched for connections, observing common themes and ideas. How would I section my life? The conflicts, the friendships, the moments, and places of significance.
